Penn State Altoona music faculty Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber and Anthony Cornet, along with Penn State Altoona voice students, will perform 19th-century German Lieder, poems that have been set to music by German composers.
Penn State Altoona will hold auditions for the spring 2025 production of Sophie Treadwell's 1928 play "Machinal" from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 15 and 16, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Penn State Altoona's University Jazz Band will perform at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.14, in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Musical selections in a variety of contemporary big band styles will be performed.
Penn State Altoona’s Ivyside Pride choral group will offer its fall performance, “Joy,” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5 and 6 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The concert features classical, gospel, folk and contemporary selections, as well as African American spirituals.
Attendees were invited to read or perform their own work or music or share a favorite piece of poetry or prose. The event began with a reading by English professors Todd Davis and Erin Murphy.

The production “Flights of Fancy, and Other Modes of Transportation” will take place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23 to 25 in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
